Big coverage, big powerhouse

This is my second Tripp Lite light bar I've bought. The cover is what sells it for me, hope I never have to use it. The length of the cord is long, with a rectangular plug head to prevent the cord from kinking and to keep furniture closer to the wall when installed in an entertainment center. Inside the box are several cables that look like a coaxial cable, an ethernet cable, and a phone cable. There are ten ports, each labeled for a specific device, but that's just a name, there doesn't appear to be any specific hardware for any particular device. The pegs are snug, a little tight at first but I expect they will loosen up a bit over time. There's a very solid rocker switch to turn it on and off, and a backlight to give a visual indication that the strip is on. The case is quite heavy, some sort of protective hardware is definitely built into the pole.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • I'm worried
