Works fine as advertised. I set it up to send email notifications and then forwarded the email to a text/sms server. Notifications are sent to all members of my family (yes, they got annoyed during the trial period!). I can see the history of temperature, humidity and water alerts. I have thoroughly tested the water sensors. If you wish to place this device on a metal surface you must attach it to a paper towel as the contact probes conduct electricity when on metal. I put mine on a paper towel on a metal tray under my air conditioner. I tested it on a baking sheet by slowly dripping water onto a paper towel. Worked great. I keep checking the battery and so far it's reading close to 100% so I'm hoping at this rate it will last a few years. The app is also impressive and easy to use. There are cheaper devices out there, but it's worth the money.
