💦 Enhance Your Home's Safety: Introducing Grohe 22601LN0 Sense Smart Water Sensor Review

I bought us some extra sensors with the GROHE Sense Guard unit. Excellent German engineering with bad German software. The system doesn't work with water softeners (needs to be bypassed) and although it has a lawn sprinkler mode I can't get it to work properly as it always shuts off the water when the sprinklers are running.

Have been using it at home for a year, the battery hasn't died yet. It also sends an email notification if your application is not logged in. It's most likely giving false humidity alerts, but the good thing is that it also detects temperature and humidity. Can be placed in drip trays (if steel, then on a paper towel) in case they clog.

Works fine as advertised. I set it up to send email notifications and then forwarded the email to a text/sms server. Notifications are sent to all members of my family (yes, they got annoyed during the trial period!). I can see the history of temperature, humidity and water alerts. I have thoroughly tested the water sensors. If you wish to place this device on a metal surface you must attach it to a paper towel as the contact probes conduct electricity when on metal. Grohe 22601LN0 Sense Smart Water Sensor This water sensor runs on 3 AA batteries (included). The lid is bolted on and has a rubber grommet around the seal, so I'm guessing it floats when the water level rises.
