Review on 🔍 Innova 3420 Smart Test Light/ Circuit Tester: An Optimized Solution for Efficient Searching by Jason Bellman

In my opinion: Arrived yesterday and used a little last night. Wiring harness in hard plastic insulation is a pain. The unit is equipped with a white LED to indicate proper power supply. this LED is too bright and is annoyingly lit on the sides; especially when working in dark surroundings. In general, these LED logic probes (as they're often called) are better suited for sorting out hot/grounded/floating objects than for troubleshooting; among other things, they don't draw enough current to detect voltage drop issues. It is interesting to note that the outer packaging of this flashlight shows a large red printed "badge" that reads "computer security". However, once the instruction card is opened, under the heading "Precautions" it says in capital letters "DO NOT USE THIS TOOL ON COMPUTER CIRCUITS". The heavy clamshell plastic packaging was difficult to open. The product is listed on the back of the instructions. was made in China. The review was published on January 24, 2018 and will be updated based on experience. Again just my opinion.
