There are several variants of this product: Kensington SD5000T, Kensington SD5200T and StarTech.com TB3DK2DPPD. I have tested all of these and this one has the highest build quality and no issues. Others had unreliable ports, static audio, or USB transfer issues. The Cable Matters block is perfect. Charge your MacBook Pro (2017) at full speed, connect dual monitors (with optional Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort/HDMI cable), connect external speakers and microphones, take advantage of additional USB 3 ports and reliable Gigabit Ethernet with one connection! Use the macOS Sound Control app to automatically switch to the dock's audio source when it's connected. Also make sure your Gigabit Ethernet connection is set to a higher priority in System Preferences -> Network. This is the dock you need.
