The product is delivered well packaged. Small pieces are distributed in bags with labels. As far as I can tell everything is included except plastic bags for piping bags. I'm not entirely sure if they should be included or if you should just use your own clear plastic bag, but I'm sure I can improvise something. There is very little painting, but quite a bit of cutting. If I were doing this with a kid, I would probably do the cutting, which requires a precision knife, and let the kid do the cutting with the scissors. Basically you will assemble everything just by looking at the pictures as the written instructions are a bit vague but I feel like I can do it without too much trouble. The instructions are broken down into assembly instructions for each part and the required parts are listed. I highly recommend that you familiarize yourself with how the instructions work and how things are labeled before you start building. Do not stack all the bags together as they will tell you which bag contains the part you need. Also note that all dimensions are in millimeters. There are many parts in these dollhouses, so you must understand that they cannot be assembled quickly. Just do it little by little and enjoy the process. I like how detailed they are and I will probably buy other models from this company. They are not meant for gaming; Rather, they are used for display purposes.
