Review on Bike Lift Hoist Garage Storage by Andy Edwards

This works great and is easy to assemble for anyone who does a lot of DIY work. Personally, I felt uncomfortable using just their hardware in a drywall garage ceiling. I chose some heavier screws that went into the stud. Honestly I just screwed two heavy duty screws into the studs and didn't add anything else (your everything). Don't expect too much from the guide. All in all it was pretty easy and works very well. Pulling out the ladder, marking the cleats took longer than mounting. I had no problems and everything worked out on the first try (a rare occurrence for my homemade efforts). I didn't see how the two sides would balance, but it works very well. I have a tall garage and the extra rope will do without a problem. I wish I had done that sooner. so do it! :)
