Excellent tripod. It is better to pack a tripod and monopod. It converts into a monopod with a simple twist of a knob. The build quality is good, but not outstanding. I'm not saying it's thin, it's just a little under the high-performance category. It's still durable and durable enough for daily use. I use it with a Canon DSLR and find this tripod is more than enough for the job. The rotate and pan head works great and the built in levels help a lot. Bottom Line: If you're into light to moderate photography and want a monopod and tripod in the same body, this is the product for you.
