Great for beginners!

My daughter needed one for her photography class and since it's $30 cheaper than Walmart it was easy. It has a Nikon 300 series and fits perfectly! would recommend.

We love it. Does the job

We love it. He's doing his job. This comes in handy, especially when I need to quickly take out the monopod with the video camera attached and follow someone or something we're filming.

It's as good as one of the more expensive models

It's as good as one of the more expensive models. It is very lightweight yet durable. It easily holds my cannon camera. It is tiltable and has three different positions. Stay in place. Excellent purchase.

Inexpensive multipurpose tripod and monopod

Inexpensive multipurpose tripod and monopod. Shipped and delivered as described. worth your money. I love having both devices integrated into the tripod so I don't have to keep track of two separate devices.

Great tripod, great monopod

I love this tripod/monopod combo and use the two almost equally. The tripod is easy to set up, adjust and remove, and the monopod is easy to use. I do a lot of nature photography and it's very convenient to switch between the two systems.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Comfort at a good price.

Excellent tripod. It is better to pack a tripod and monopod. It converts into a monopod with a simple twist of a knob. The build quality is good, but not outstanding. I'm not saying it's thin, it's just a little under the high-performance category. It's still durable and durable enough for daily use. I use it with a Canon DSLR and find this tripod is more than enough for the job. The rotate and pan head works great and the built in levels help a lot. Bottom Line: If you're into light toโ€ฆ

Excellent dual purpose tripod

Was skeptical of buying something like this from a company I don't know. Sunpak 620 exceeded my expectations. I had a great tripod but I lost the part that fits the camera. If you lose that part, the rest of the tripod is ready. Sunpak includes two of these connectors in case you have two cameras. I needed it as a backup in case I lose it. The ability to switch between tripod and monopod is great. Very durable in any configuration. The leg extension latches on the tripod aren't very convenient,

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I have doubts

It's beautiful but not heavy

For the McDouble and Jackson price, you can get a monopod and tripod that's over 5 feet long. This is a phenomenal deal. But the build quality is good! Not great but good! As you may have read, the middle tripod extension turns into a monopod; It's a fancy deal with this particular Sunpak model. The monopod isn't easy to "lock into" as it uses a fairly unintuitive "twist" method for each of its extensions, but I found it to be pretty solid once extended. The tripod itself is exactly what youโ€ฆ

  • Excellent overall performance
