The water heater beats the old 6 gallon tank hands down. That being said it gets wonky on temperature after about 7 minutes- the normal time you get with a six gallon tank. It hasn't shut down or anything, it just changes from real hot to warm randomly after a about 7 minutes. The installation instructions are absolutely useless! You have to ground one lead for the remote to make it work fyi. Doesn't seem to matter which wire goes to which or which you ground- would be nice to know! Tank fits perfectly in the suburban opening in the trailer, depth is much less than the old tank so you will need more pipe to hook it up. Gas line doesn't have an o ring in it its the dust cap for Shipping, and mine had water in the lines already. All complaints aside it's way better then the actual tank model heaters
