This is the best baby coat I've found for several reasons: the lightest. The surface of the coating has the property "flicker”, which corresponds to its name. I would consider this a 3 season jacket (fall, winter, spring). In moderate temperatures (50-60 degrees Fahrenheit) you can easily pull this jacket over your shirt. In very cold weather, this jacket works great as an outer shell with multiple layers underneath. As for water resistance, it offers good protection in light rain. CLEANING: Easy to wash in the washing machine. Fully synthetic materials ensure that it dries quickly and does not absorb water. ZIPPERS: Easy to use with thick prongs. HOOD: easy to put on the child's head. You need to add thick layers underneath. I have a little 3 year old who wears 2T. It also handles 3T well, so don't hesitate to buy a size up to make it last longer.
