Good in theory, difficult in practice

I bought these needles to make small items like hats and headbands. I have a spare pick set from Knit Picks that I really like. They're attractive, durable, easy to use, and don't raise the price with a "fancy" case. Transparent plastic is the perfect functionality that this set brings together. However, these nickel-plated ones are so smooth that it is very difficult to ensure that the connections remain tight. I tried different tactics
