Bought two, one for each upstairs bathroom. They are discreet and are mounted on the wall under the towel rail. However, do not think that you hang towels on it to preheat them. It features an automatic shut-off that is triggered when it detects something is blocking the vent. Thought I would be tricky and try to heat my towel but don't dice it cuts. Other Notes: I just leave the thermostat set to the hottest temperature. I noticed that if you set it to anything other than the highest value, the timer will be overridden. One day I came home after work to find that the bathroom heater was on, even though no one had been in the bathroom since that morning. So pay attention! Criticism: It doesn't look complete when assembled. It is wall mounted but not completely flush. If you look down, you'll see a bracket, a giant Romex power cable, and a hole cut in the wall for the power supply. A beauty ring would be nice, or something to hide everything. It's like having a car without a hood covering the engine compartment. I don't know why you want to expose all this. I can live with that as our towels cover it most of the time but it's the only real wart on the communal heating. Overall: 8/10. Aside from the beauty issues and the timer running out, I love it. Would order again.
