Great feature Surface mounted heater

Perfect heater. I was concerned that this would work well in my application. After testing it, I saw that the heat would be enough. The task was to connect it. In the end I didn't want to go through the wall, that would take a bit of work. So I used standard 12 gauge wire instead, usually inside the wall but outside in this situation. All my outlets are 20 amp so I wasn't overly concerned. I made sure I had a heavy male socket. I started the device and made sure that the wire does not heat up…

Functional and elegant

Works great. If you need faster warm-up (e.g. after a quick shower), get the CK 20E model. It gives you 500W more, but consumes a mains voltage of 220V. There is no need for a timer that temporarily turns off the built-in thermostat (if you still need a timer, get the CKT 20E model). I connected mine via a selectable wall mounted countdown timer - be sure to get a 1HP timer like the Leviton LTB60-1LZ. I was tempted to give the heater four stars because of the poor placement of the power cord…

Clean mounting method

Well built product as evidenced by the quality of the wiring inside. The design is clean and modern; slightly larger than your standard wall heater. However, if you don't want to cut a huge hole in the wall, this heater is a great option. Just three drywall anchors and a hole for power wiring. I set mine as low as possible with the manufacturer's recommended ground clearance of 8 inches. With low mounting and angled outlet at the bottom, this is an excellent convection heater. The main reason…

Works well but FYI the thermostat setting bypasses the timer

Bought two, one for each upstairs bathroom. They are discreet and are mounted on the wall under the towel rail. However, do not think that you hang towels on it to preheat them. It features an automatic shut-off that is triggered when it detects something is blocking the vent. Thought I would be tricky and try to heat my towel but don't dice it cuts. Other Notes: I just leave the thermostat set to the hottest temperature. I noticed that if you set it to anything other than the highest value…

Great heater, bad timer

We've finally redesigned the upstairs bathroom in our 100+ year old Victorian home. The heating in this room was never very good and the previous owner installed a wall mounted mesh surface electric heater that warmed to the touch and it took 20 minutes to heat an 8x12 room. They looked terrible, were safe to the touch, and quickly warmed the room in the dead of winter. I discovered this model a year ago and I am very happy with it for several reasons. First, it quickly warms up the room…

Good heater - Best warranty - Defective timer design

Ordered a 120v heater with timer through Revain. the seller was My PlumbingStuff. I used regular shipping but received my heater early and in good condition. The heater is a very nice device. Here are some comments: Slim and attractive. The appearance of the device is pleasant and fits into any home. Mine went to the bathroom. There were no installation instructions. There are a few rudimentary drawings showing the dimensions of the device, but no actual instructions on how to mount it on the…
