Absolutely normal. in drawers
It slides well and works with a soft close. The soft close got stuck in some of the rails and had to be pressed to engage and work as intended. The bearings work pretty hard, they're not smooth like other brands, but they're not stiff either, they're just harder. . I suppose for a heavy box it might be good to keep it from accidentally catching someone's finger. In my case I used for a medium sized dressing table so I would have preferred a lighter slip. Maybe over time it breaks off and gets brighter.
