Upgrading your closet with this isn't easy, even if you're a seasoned jack of all trades and know what you're doing. Yes, and it was still a very complex project to set up, align and get fully functional. If they are not installed exactly right, with the correct spacing, level, and front and rear spacing, they will bind or otherwise not function smoothly. However, I dialed them all in and it was so lovely, with a smooth feel and sweet bliss without the slamming boxes. They worked fine for at least a few weeks. Then the soft close function started to fail. 6 months after installation exactly one is still working as intended and in case you are wondering - no they are not overused, I am the only person in the house. The only one that still works is in the most used and heaviest drawer. For the life of me I can't find a way to adjust or tweak it to bring it back to life and the seller doesn't seem to be answering consumer questions. This is recorded in my book as a 'lesson learned' about what you should and shouldn't risk shopping online without a vendor or brand standing behind your product. Disappointing as wasted money and HOURS wasted installing it.
