My husband's new car only has a cup holder in the back seat. Although we don't let kids drink in the car every day, we did take them on a long car ride. We decided that getting them was easier than hearing complaints from the back seat. They are cool. We have rear seats and since they are black they blend in so we leave them up. Because the straps are detachable, once attached to the brackets, the straps can tilt slightly to accommodate the headrest anchorages, which are narrower than the brackets. They can be used for more than just eating and drinking.
