DISCLOSURE: I BUY THIS FOR MY KITTENS Okay I don't have young children anymore but we have several animals including two Kittens who go out of their way to distract me during the day while I work from home. While that's amazing, it doesn't help with performance. I have a few electronic cat toys, as well as tunnels, balls, squeakers, crackers, etc - every cat toy imaginable. However, sometimes they get bored and demand my attention. When one of the kittens became interested in the PBS children's cartoons, I got the idea to look for a tablet for preschoolers. It's great - I can dress up cartoons and one of the kittens is really fascinated. The tablet has a built-in pop balloon game, kittens love WALLPAPERS. They can smack the balloons with their paws and each balloon has a sound, musical note, bird chirping etc - they have fun for a while so I can work. The battery life is very good and the screen looks sharp. Very good price for the value and for the product. If you really want this for a young child I think it has good parental controls as I have to log in every time I use the device and choose if I'm a parent or a child. The child does not have access to download new applications, etc. Overall a good product.
