Review on πŸ›΄ Razor Lux Kick Scooter Blue - Smooth and Stylish Ride for All Ages by Chris Burns

Revainrating 5 out of 5

this one makes three

We just added another scooter to our family. My four year old rides a tricycle and I have an e Prime Air shaver. When we bought it for my wife we wanted it to be light and springy. My electric car has a heavy battery, so it ruled out using electricity. My air tires, while softer, don't roll as well and I constantly get flat tires because of the goat's head spikes in the area. So that also ruled out pneumatic tires. She chose the tried and true Razor Scooter. Basically, he was ready to walk out of the box. The opening takes some getting used to as people tend to open and unfold at the same time. But the release pin will not move when there is tension on it. So just relax and pull the trigger pin up. So, as I said, it's basically ready to go, but the last thing to adjust is the screw that sits between the base and the post. It seems to have a blue screw lock painted on it to keep it from spinning. But a few turns and the slack was removed as the scooter was unfolded. And in our case, the handlebars were a bit farther from the front wheel, so we raised them a bit. In terms of performance, she enjoyed driving this more than the electric. And frankly, an e-scooter is much better suited for commuting than for leisure. And the reverse also applies.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Bad instructions
