Replaces Marantz SR-7001. Sound quality is the difference between day and night. I've changed a lot of speaker settings over the years because I wasn't happy with the sound, but it turns out the whole time it was the receiver. You have full control of the MusicCast app over your home network/Wi-Fi. The standard remote control is handy for turning on/off and increasing the volume, otherwise you'd be better off using the app. I recently downloaded an app on my wife's iPad so she can control the receiver, which is amazing because I can no longer be prompted to adjust the volume.
