I really like this tea infuser and would have given it five stars if it weren't for the poor stitching on the inner strainer. I didn't realize how bad the stitching was until I sponge washed the inside of the screen. This has thrown up poorly formed seam edges, which hasn't affected filter performance so far, but I think it's only going to get worse over time. I can only assume I accidentally got a bad one. On the plus side, the holes in the outer sheet are so small that most loose tea leaves will stain well with just that layer. Inside, however, there is a very thin mesh that does not let even the smallest tea particles through. I've used a few different tea strainers over the years and this has been the most effective so far. If it wasn't for the bad stitching on what I received I would have easily given this product 5 stars.
