Definitely buy if you drink tea.

No tea leaves in the cup, no tin taste. Easy to clean and well made. The small lid doubles as a portafilter to keep your table dry. Good product

Great coffee at home or when traveling

Used to make coffee. It can be used as a drizzle or steeped like a french press in the cup you're drinking from. Easy to clean and super lightweight. So light that it can easily wrinkle. Great for travel.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Can't remember

later For those making Thai iced tea, remember to add the flavors first (down) and then the tea. Gently pour the water over the tea until it reaches the top of the teapot, then cover with a lid. This will ensure that all of the flavor is absorbed. I had never made Thai iced tea at home before purchasing. What a pleasant meal.

Ideal for tea making

Does the job. It's strong enough if you treat it with respect. The people complaining about its design are either fake reviews or abusing it in some way, and that's just bittersweet. Try to submerge it carefully, otherwise it may push the water out of the cup. The notch on the lid helps push the tea leaf into the water instead of letting it float above the water. Also, it provides a good place to place my spoon firmly on the mug. It washes off easily. I've had it for about three days and use it

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I love it and then update 2 came out

Only used once so far but I really like the design. I brew tea in a teapot, but in the small amount of water I brew, it stands upright with no problem. The inner mesh is great for storing small pieces of tea. Update: I've used it a few more times and I love it. Just make sure to put it on something to catch the drips afterwards as it holds a bit more liquid than most tea infusers. Update 2: It's been many months since I started this. I'm not sure if it's my hard water or the type of tea I'm…

Filters out even the finest particles

I really like this tea infuser and would have given it five stars if it weren't for the poor stitching on the inner strainer. I didn't realize how bad the stitching was until I sponge washed the inside of the screen. This has thrown up poorly formed seam edges, which hasn't affected filter performance so far, but I think it's only going to get worse over time. I can only assume I accidentally got a bad one. On the plus side, the holes in the outer sheet are so small that most loose tea leaves…

This was a huge upgrade for me - love it!

I hated the little bits of tea leaves left in my cup from my previous diffuser so I specifically looked for something with a very fine mesh that would prevent this. This fully meets all requirements. It doesn't show up very well in the photos so I relied on reviews to find out that there is an extra layer of mesh lining on the inside. They should promote it more because it's the best feature in my opinion! BENEFITS • Super thin mesh lining keeps stray leaves out • Good size for standard and…

  • Pretty Packaging

Excellent work; Good quality.

This tea infuser is good for loose leaf tea that needs room to expand. I wouldn't mind if it was a bit wider as some of my gyokuro don't seem to hydrate properly. (Of course, technically, you should let the leaves float freely in the teapot and not be restricted by the strainer.) But for what it's supposed to do, it's fine. As for the construction, I tried to take a photo to show -- there's a container with a fine stainless steel screen, which is then wrapped inside with even finer mesh. It…

Pure tee - no liners but what seam?

I use it every day for loose tea. The packaging says Made in China. It is made of stainless steel 18/18, 18/8 and 18/10 are the two most commonly used grades of stainless steel for cooking and dining, also known as Type 304 (Grade 304), the first digit, 18, refers to the amount of present chromium, and the second - the amount of nickel. For example, 18/8 stainless steel is 18% chromium and 8% nickel. Therefore, it must be rust-resistant and durable. I didn't have a metallic taste as expected…
