Only used once so far but I really like the design. I brew tea in a teapot, but in the small amount of water I brew, it stands upright with no problem. The inner mesh is great for storing small pieces of tea. Update: I've used it a few more times and I love it. Just make sure to put it on something to catch the drips afterwards as it holds a bit more liquid than most tea infusers. Update 2: It's been many months since I started this. I'm not sure if it's my hard water or the type of tea I'm brewing, but this filter has stopped working. I soaked it in hot water with some citric acid to try and clean the filter but that only worked for a couple of days. I still think this is a great filter for most teas, but some clog the holes so much that the tea brews very easily and tasteless. For this reason I have to change my rating.
