Pure tee - no liners but what seam?

I use it every day for loose tea. The packaging says Made in China. It is made of stainless steel 18/18, 18/8 and 18/10 are the two most commonly used grades of stainless steel for cooking and dining, also known as Type 304 (Grade 304), the first digit, 18, refers to the amount of present chromium, and the second - the amount of nickel. For example, 18/8 stainless steel is 18% chromium and 8% nickel. Therefore, it must be rust-resistant and durable. I didn't have a metallic taste as expected. Does it fit in your cup/pot? The display gives measurements, but only for verification. The round portion of the lid is 3" and the inside diameter is 2-1/2". Top diameter is 2-1/2" (bucket) and bottom diameter is 1-3/4". Height 3 inches. The wings are 1-1/2" long and don't get hot so they're easy to grab, but that also depends on your cup diameter. The overall wingspan is 5 inches, so take another look at the diameter of the cup /pan. The lid acts as a lid for keeping warm and a stand when soaking. The depth of the stand is approximately 5/16" and adequately holds a drip from the tea leaves (a cup of tea leaves), over the kettle and up, not secure, whether it will fit.The main caveat is that if you use the lid as a lid, hot condensation will end up on the underside of the lid, so if you use it as a trivet, be sure to dry the base before placing it on the table The basket has a fine mesh, the display says <0.01". About the same as the Keurig reusable tee I had. I haven't tried it, but the FAQ and other reviews suggest you can make coffee. There is a coffee in the seam, and you have to be careful when drying with a towel, you have to wipe counterclockwise, otherwise the seam may unravel and the leaves may fall (see picture) The basket works very well - it does not float in the tea at the bottom the cup :-) Cleaning is quite easy, I spray water on the outside first, they spray water on the inside, after I tap the fender, down the sink drain to remove most of the leaves. Works well. Dishwasher safe The seam and the insecurity affect this in the long term. [edit/update] After 2-3 months of use, the seam has held up well. It performs well in the dishwasher and comes out shiny and undamaged.
