Review on ☕ IPOW Upgraded Stainless Steel Tea and Coffee Infuser with Fine Mesh Filters - Tea Strainer Steeper with Double Handles for Hanging on Teapots, Mugs, and Cups to Steep Loose Leaf Tea and Coffee by Cindy Hardin

Excellent work; Good quality.

This tea infuser is good for loose leaf tea that needs room to expand. I wouldn't mind if it was a bit wider as some of my gyokuro don't seem to hydrate properly. (Of course, technically, you should let the leaves float freely in the teapot and not be restricted by the strainer.) But for what it's supposed to do, it's fine. As for the construction, I tried to take a photo to show -- there's a container with a fine stainless steel screen, which is then wrapped inside with even finer mesh. It works really well, I don't think I've ever had tea dust on the bottom of my cup (which is quite remarkable). It hasn't rusted and I use it every day and only wash it once a week. I don't think there's a problem there (otherwise it would be rusted) To those complaining about the seam on the screen's internal grille: of course there has to be a seam, and what the heck do you use to clean this thing. God, Louise. Simply rinse under the tap, then toss face down on the top rack in the next load of the dishwasher. It will come out shiny and new! and functional! If you MUST watch, do so with delicacy and intelligence. You don't have to sandblast it. It's good. Buy it. You will use it quite often when drinking loose tea. (And if you can find one that's wider/thicker to account for sheet expansion, I couldn't.) PS Sorry for the side photos. I have no idea what Revain is doing with it.
