The remote didn't work properly initially so they sent me another remote. When I first looked at the lights they were so small that I was sure they wouldn't be bright enough because they were about half the size of a pea. I plugged them in and the light was small but got surprisingly brighter as it got darker. I was very impressed. This is mood lighting and will not disturb your neighbors. We wrapped them around the railing on the deck and it looks pretty cool so we leave them on overnight. They use very little power and don't heat up at all - low voltage so safe. You can adjust the brightness and keep it constant or flash at different speeds with the remote control. I bought some clips to hold them in place but they aren't needed as they are made of copper wire that can be bent where you want to hold them. Memory. Driving home at night they look cool but are dark enough to never bother your neighbors. They would be good for a Christmas tree. One is enough and you can make them blink slowly if you like. I suspect the yellow/orange color doesn't attract bugs, which is a plus. Great price with remote control for what you get.
