Perfect fit for my cat and I think she will fit when she grows up. It's easy to carry and I love being able to open it from the top OR the side. They are easier to insert from the side and remove upwards. My vet also specifically recommended a top opening carry case. The carpet insert on the underside comes off easily but which is inconvenient when I put it in it seems to stick out a bit. However, the flexible, zippered fabric door closes fairly easily, albeit awkwardly. I got this carrier for the price and because it seemed to have everything I wanted in a pet carrier. And I'm completely satisfied! ESPECIALLY for the price. Petsmart now sells such items for over $60.
