This anklet is very cute. It is very girly and fits well. The chain is strong and very strong, but thin due to the purpose of the anklet, you can't use it as an anklet. (I saw a complaint in another review that they can't use it as a bracelet). This is an Alex & Ani original but I felt it necessary to let people know that what I received was not boxed or anything else that would be attractive as a gift. So if you're going to send this as a gift, make sure to put it in a gift bag or box. I love this line of products. They are very well done. The charms are definitely glued in as they soldered the metal pieces together using lots of metal. Overall I give them 10/10. I would recommend this anklet or other products from this brand. Oh I had ONE final comment on the anklet/brand. Be sure to remove this (or any jewelry) before entering the water. Some people have complained about fading; but they did not remove their jewelry before bathing/showering, swimming and/or swimming in the sea. This will help keep the product from wearing out. The evil eye, the central part of the anklet, is exactly the same as the picture. This is an anklet, so the chain is elegant and the evil eye is visible. In closing, I just wanted to share my experience when I first got my anklet. It might just be a coincidence but I soon got lucky after receiving my jewelry in the mail. I firmly believe that the pendant is a source of good luck and protection. Obviously there are different ways of looking at this, and I'm a logical person. I have no other explanation of what happiness is. At least once. When I used a search engine to find out what this pendant means, there were articles stating that the evil eye or all seeing eye is a magnet for luck and money. The most used word is abundance. As well as protection. So, I think I've found a lucky charm - and I've found it on sale!
