I LOVE this mascara. It lengthens and fills in your lashes without smearing or smudging. I've used much more expensive products before (Dior, Urban Decay) and it's just as good at 1/4 the price. Better than anything? Essence is indeed a cruelty-free cosmetics company - many of the companies that claim this have parent companies that test on animals, not Essence. I can understand people using animals for food, but I've never understood why anyone should feel justified in harming animals in the pursuit of beauty. You can feel good that no dog or rabbit was harmed with this product for your gorgeous eyelashes.
