Sometimes it's not worth buying the cheaper ones.
I bought two packs in July and only used them today because I had a leak and hooked them up to PEX and copper. The copper side is leaking. I thought it was me and tried the second. It leaked. Both were safe. I've even taken it off and put it back on twice, it's still leaking. Had to run to the hardware store because of the shark bite. Dress in 5 minutes. Don't suspect leaks. I must have bought 2 bad ones. Hope the Sunshine Alligator doesn't lick!
