Mounting and pre-drilled holes fit perfectly into holes where the stock speaker mounts were. Be sure to drill out 3 rivets and use small bolts/nuts with washers to replace the drilled rivets. I just used nuts/bolts/washers from my garage and used Loctite. There is no need to drill another hole for this bracket to fit. If the holes don't match, you have the wrong mounting position. The bracket is not symmetrical, so rotate it to align the holes. I've seen several reviews on here saying the hole doesn't fit and had to drill a hole which doesn't. Hope that helps.
