Well it works but not what I had in mind. Let's start with quality. It's a nice solid piece, seems like the hinge screw could be tightened enough to hold even a heavy device in place, and takes a few minutes to install. This is a standard Garmin adapter so whatever you have has a round Garmin disc mount. I saw a question about this asking if a Hammerhead Karoo would fit and someone answered "NO". Let's just say they were wrong. The problem is, if you want to mount something in front of the rack, it's better if it's tiny, e.g. B. no larger than a Garmin disc, and you need space in front for the mount to lie flat. If you have to or want to tilt it, then nothing works. You can see in my third photo that my riser is not very high but that wouldn't allow me to mount it from the front due to the angle, maybe 10-15 degrees was enough that I couldn't mount a computer on it. . The workaround is to just install it backwards like I did. It works, but I'm not happy with the position, but it's enough for now. I'll probably replace this with a simple cap mount. I would have preferred the computer to be a little further forward to avoid hitting it with my knee when I prefer a more aggressive ride.
