Keeps my camper battery charged. Without a controller. I am satisfied with the SAE connection (corresponds to my van). If you really want to run something like lights, a fridge or something like that, it won't help. Get something 80W or better with a solar controller. Update: I hooked it up to my caravan a few months ago. The temperature is -5 to 45 here in Michigan. decided to check the battery to make sure it was still charged. Solar panel disconnected and voila. 12.2 volts. Cool. I recommended this panel to my relatives for winter storage. You remove the battery and store it with the charger.
