SUNER POWER Battery Charger Maintainer Review

I installed it in October so we are already getting less sunlight per day. I was hoping this would keep the battery fully charged, but it still drains to around 60-70% every few weeks, so I have to use a wall charger as well. Maybe it works better when there is more daylight. I aimed it directly at the southern sky using suction cups for maximum windshield effect.

I needed something to keep my snow thrower batteries charged. The cord is long enough to fit in my trailer vent and reach both batteries with no problem. Once a month I will go into the trailer and swap the panel wire from one car to another. I built a small frame to hold the panel at a 45° angle. You will also need to install a small L-shaped bracket and screw it to the roof. If there are changes, I will repeat.

From all the comments and packaging I was convinced you could wire this directly to the battery, YOU CAN'T! It charges your battery, it is NOT a companion battery! . There is nothing in it that can limit the amount of current in your battery, which is very bad. It must be related to the charge controller which they are up to and say you can connect it directly to your battery.

Bought this for our caravan which we keep in a warehouse with no electricity. I keep this on my already fully charged battery and it keeps it in good condition. Remember this is just a charger to keep an already charged battery in working order. I've only been using it for about a month and it seems to be working great; I test the battery with a multimeter and the battery is always fully charged in a week or two. If there are any problems I will update my rating.

Keeps my camper battery charged. Without a controller. I am satisfied with the SAE connection (corresponds to my van). If you really want to run something like lights, a fridge or something like that, it won't help. Get something 80W or better with a solar controller.
