I purchased 2 of these hoping that interchanging the lids would work for one. Neither worked. I contacted the seller and found that they were aware of the problem- swelling of the wood with the changes in humidity. They were more than accommodating and sent me out 2 new ones once the alterations on the design were completed. I have both the black and the white lid and couldn't be happier. Very well crafted and beautiful in my kitchen. Large enough to hold a good amount for cooking with. Unless you have a table that seats a minimum of 6 they would be to large for table top. But perfect for counter top cooking! Love them!
