I bought this stand to keep my laptop off the table when not in use. I wanted something heavy and strong enough to ensure it wouldn't tip over, but soft enough not to scratch my laptop. This stand definitely hits the mark on both sides. This stand also has a smooth finish on the bottom so it doesn't scratch the tabletop, and the laptop slots are easy to adjust with a simple (and included) allen wrench, allowing me to find the perfect sizes for my laptops. And to top it off, the stand looks great with the logo on only one side making it easy to hide. This stand definitely exceeded my expectations. Definitely recommended.
