Package found, retail box damaged. There were no manuals or cords inside other than a loosely hand-rolled power cord. The POE adapter was clearly used as the standard power plug didn't stay inside, it was very loose. The package said there should be at least one ethernet cable, which was included, but it was missing. The device case has been dropped, scratched and abused. The device hasn't even been factory reset yet. It still had the previous owner's wireless network information programmedโ€ฆ

Weird Networking Products

I bought this to set up as a repeater/extender for my shop. I have previously purchased the same model to set up as a hotspot for my remote barn and it has been working great for over 18 months now. Like a repeater. not so great. After hours of configuring and reading all the posts on the support forums, I finally gave up. It will NOT connect to my home network. When I returned to my shop the next day, I noticed that it was connected to the internet and working as it should. Weird, so Iโ€ฆ

Thanks but no. Thank you

Pros+Cost of money+Packaging was neat and had everything+Small aesthetic device+Clear instructions Cons-Very hot-Felt too light and accessible-Unlucky on my part, couldn't get a signal. Returned it for something else, I updated many other things. Please don't let this discourage you from upgrading. Just bad luck with the technology, it happens with new devices

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Modern

Great price well packaged

I bought 2 access points to set up dual access to 2 different carriers. I set up access points as clients and use the ethernet outputs for a wired router. I had a hard time distinguishing hotspots from new ones. They were packed in their original packaging in their original boxes.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Approx

Works great IF the information on the label is correct!

When I realized the information on the label was wrong, I was able to log in using the IP address registered by my main router. It was weird, but that's probably why it was extended. A normal user wouldn't get it to work even if it's brand new!

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Negative Impression

A decent one may experience signal drops.

I'm not sure if it's a cable or a device, but I'm losing signal from my router to this access point. 40MB on the router drops to 25MB.

Pros
  • Good job
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great product for the price

I bought a refurbished unit which arrived in its original packaging and included all manuals, power supply, POE injector and connection cables. The device had a previous user SSID and unknown password. Had to factory reset by holding reset button for about 10 seconds. After the reset, setup was very quick and easy.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • weak

Just what I needed for an impossible task.

This item was purchased to provide Wi-Fi in a steel container prior to upgrading to the Eero Network System. Easy to set up and works great. Eero warned that no other brands of access points or extenders would work with eero routers, but it connected immediately and required no new settings to work. All my devices work perfectly both inside and outside the Faraday cage!

Pros
  • Done
Cons

Ordered, not good; order more, nothing good

Besides my title, can I recommend this product? Let's see the first time I got it it was used and didn't work so I called Revain and was able to get a replacement. It took a full three weeks to get this replacement and it didn't have the previous owner's notes on the instructions page but unfortunately it didn't work at all either so I had to send it back as well. Then no. I would not recommend this item.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Update available
