This cover will not fit my 2007 Honda Rancher TRX400FA directly. The cover fabric was large enough, and the fabric was much heavier than the previous cover which failed after 2 years of installation on my car (which I parked outside in the Idaho sunlight at 6,000 feet). But the sewn on elastic around the perimeter was too short for me to fit this cover on a standard seat. I had to cut the cord by cutting the edge of the case to cut the cord on the inside with the overlays. The case I bought 2 years ago had an adjustable elastic cord around the perimeter with two open ends and a spring loaded damper clip. After installing the cover, I was able to pull the elastic cord and clamp the edges of the cover tightly around the bottom of the seat. If this bag had an adjustable drawstring, it would fit perfectly. However, I had to sew the edges together and use safety pins to secure them. I kept the longer elastic cord and fastening clip from my old case so I could slide them into the crease along the edge of this new case in case my safety pin didn't last long. Also, there was no slit on the leading edge. to provide a hole to access the front seat mounting clip to engage with the retaining hook on the frame below. I installed it but expect the fabric there to be pinched and frayed. CONCLUSION: I got it working, but I'd pay double just in case if I could be sure it would fit right out of the box. Crate.
