I received my two portable DVD players yesterday (yes I ordered two, I'll tell you why later). I opened it up and turned it on to charge overnight. I hit her at breakfast this morning. My little girl couldn't take her eyes off the screen! You are wonderful! The picture is excellent, the sound is good, it's very easy to manage them. I used a UV cable (sold separately) to connect them and was able to watch the same movie on both screens; it was just a matter of putting them together and pressing the MODDE button right on the panel, how easy! I pulled out the remote to see how it works with two devices playing the same movie. I could change the volume on any device with the same remote simply by pointing to the device I wanted to change; how easy it is! It looks like I can control both devices with the same remote just by pointing it at the device I want to replace and I don't have to use both remotes! Before purchasing, I spent a lot of time researching portable DVD players. I bought two of these and am very happy with my decision so far! Others in the same price range (this device x 2 priced at $140) only offered one device with a "dummy" device and you couldn't play them individually if you wanted to. Other devices were smaller, some with poor image quality, and others too expensive for their purpose. I will use them in our truck so my kid can watch movies when we travel long distances; it's only a few times a year. I would have to spend a lot more money to buy a dual unit with separate functions or just have a real unit to play with. I found this unit and doubled it up to get my two portable DVD players. Best bang for my buck!
