Review on πŸ₯Š Enhance Your Muay Thai Training with Fairtex BGV1 Sparring Gloves by Jake Pavelko

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy construction and definitive authenticity

Initial evaluation after first day of use When people say they run small, listen to them. They are a little tight when you first use them; When donning, make sure your fingers ALL reach the end of the glove. This may seem obvious, but I had never realized it before. Because of the shape of these gloves (I'm guessing they're both impact and compression oriented) they feel more open in the fingers than the gloves I've had before, and if you don't push your fingers all the way down, you're at the end of the line glove, slap and slap your fingers in front of your knuckles. Once you get your fingers fully in it will be a lot easier to hit with your knuckles, it's just something to be aware of. a set of 14 ounce gloves to give me a smaller glove profile so I can land some of my flashy shots when sparring that just don't work in big, bulky gloves. They are definitely smaller and I like that a lot. The construction feels solid, the leather is definitely genuine. The lining is hard. There is little support at the wrists, so be prepared to put some extra wrapping material around your wrists to compensate. The knuckle pads will fit inside the glove if you have small hands, but you'll need to take the time to break in the gloves before using them or your hands will really hurt. I'll update after some time of use and let you know how they hold up.
