Nice gloves but the padding is thinner than the others

I wish I could rate these gloves better as they are just gorgeous when dressed with the Thai flag. They are also much smaller/more compact than the old RDXs I had before. Pros: - Compact for 16oz gloves - Great - Feels very light - Comfortable (except for the minus below) - Straps are easy to put on and take off even with both gloves on etc. Cons: - Feels underprotected (and compared to my RDX, I honestly feel the padding is thinner and my joints/tendons have suffered). I wrapped my hands the…

I want to love these training gloves

I really want to love these gloves but they are just awful. I've used the Venum Elite for a couple of years and now use the Hayabusa T3 for bagwork and sparring. I understand that there is a big difference in price between Hayabusa and these Fairtex, but these gloves seem very basic. I can use the T3 and not bandage my hands when I'm too lazy and the wrist support and padding does most of the hard work even when I'm 100% working with a heavy bag. With these gloves I feel like you need to wrap…

Make no mistake with the Fairtex BGV1!

Today only! They look exactly like the photos and the fit and finish really feels premium. I can't wait to try them on as everyone else says to see how I really grow on them! First impression 1) The workmanship seems really top notch, thanks to the Fairtex team for that! hands, and I have big hands. I bought these primarily for pocket work and light sparring for my MMA class in addition to separate MMA gloves and will be using them as soon as I start Muay Thai within the next two weeks where…

Sturdy construction and definitive authenticity

Initial evaluation after first day of use When people say they run small, listen to them. They are a little tight when you first use them; When donning, make sure your fingers ALL reach the end of the glove. This may seem obvious, but I had never realized it before. Because of the shape of these gloves (I'm guessing they're both impact and compression oriented) they feel more open in the fingers than the gloves I've had before, and if you don't push your fingers all the way down, you're at the…
