If you read and follow the instructions you will be able to use the feeder. It worked for me for a few days and it works great. It took a while to adjust the portion size for my fish, but now it works perfectly. If you plan on using it on vacation, you should start using it a few days before your trip so you have time to set it up and see if it works well.
