Review on Neewer Upgraded Heavy Duty Tripod Fluid Drag Pan Head – Perfect for DSLR Cameras & Video Camcorders [Load Capacity: 11 lbs/5 kg, Aluminum Alloy] by Walter Martin

I ordered this based on other reviews and wanted it to work both horizontally and vertically. I wanted to try two different tripods and when I removed the head from the first tripod I noticed some metal shavings so I checked the threads on the tripod and the Neewer head. The threads inside the head looked a bit rough so I'm a little worried about how it will hold up. The rest of the head seems well built and fairly solid otherwise I would have left 5 stars. I've checked some of my other heads and haven't noticed any wear or problems with the 3/8" thread. If I had just put it on a tripod I probably wouldn't have noticed, I was shooting a long time ago. Otherwise the Head all right ready.—Richard Galbraith
