33 years ago we moved into a house with very small closets. I bought some plastic hangers, which I used to carry winter and summer clothes down to the basement. I added to the original ones which started to crack as the plastic deteriorated over time. Newer ones, 5 years old, also crack near the camp. I was surprised as most of the 20+ years were still good. The first metal brackets were very sharp in places and also more open than closed. They are good for coats, but they throw everything they wear, ironed shirts, on the ground from place to place. It is excellent. Not too heavy, not too sharp, not brittle, and it covers every stain. Clothes can be hung on either side, but I like it when all clothes are hung on one side. I have ordered 20 more and will be ordering more soon!
