It's just what I wanted

As someone who has bought countless sockets for both professional and home use, I understand when something unique and remarkable comes along. Most manufacturers focus on multi-socket strips, six sockets are probably the most popular, followed by the larger ones. If you only need two or three outlets, you're forced to use an extension cord, and there's nothing wrong with that. But a very simple can with two outlets that you can attach a bottom flange to (most have a top flange) is rare. This is the type of outlet best suited for tasks like mounting it on the side or underside of a desk or workstation so you don't have to get up from your chair to plug in a portable device. You might also want to consider placing a handy electrical outlet within easy reach in your kitchen, bathroom, or workshop, something you can permanently install so it doesn't dangle like an extension cord. Please note that the maximum output of this box is 12A, which is less than some household appliances. that can work safely - this includes things like microwave ovens, coffee makers, toaster ovens, etc. that require a 16 amp circuit or even 20 amps to work safely and space the outlets a little further apart. There are so many unique requirements for USB power transformers that I would rather use the one listed for the device rather than a generic unknown. But any of the ideas I mentioned above would be nice to have. There is probably no right or wrong. Basically you can have problems with this product if you have a grounded transformer that either blocks the second outlet or blocks the USB ports. But we can't always get what we want. I'd rather say that this mini socket is perfect for the uses it's perfect for and not great for the things it's not so good at. COST It's only twelve dollars. That being said, I can't get too excited about what could have been better if they had done it differently. In this case it would be different and you would buy it instead. I think it's affordable enough to have on hand and I got it because I had the perfect need for it. DO YOU KNOW There are two other things you need to know. First, the dowel on the wall is different from the standard used in much of the US, i.e. the third grounding hole is at the bottom (although in some regions it is sometimes at the top). This means that when plugged in, the cable faces up, not down toward the ground. As a result, unless you plan to mount the box over a wall outlet, the cord will likely have to bend downward at some point. Obviously that's neither good nor bad, you just have to know. Another little thing is a big ugly silver label that takes up about half of the entire page. Like most of these labels, they are difficult to remove without leaving a residue, but the label could just as easily be peeled off from the bottom to the bottom. YES OR NO. In that case, what I said above answers that question. Solid workmanship, inexpensive, the cable is a comfortable length, the plug is flat and is attached to the wall. Either it suits you or it doesn't. I like it.
