I've placed many parts with tape so I know how to prep the area for adhesion. Although this cover was something I really wanted I don't think I needed it. I went with it so my interior would have a more finished look. Removing the red parts of the tape took forever, no blame placed on the product seller here however, the two pieces on either side of the rear (trunk door) opening do not stay in place. They are secured by the trunk being closed however; if I need to retrack the trunk cover to place taller items in the back, 9 times out of 10 they are either going to pop off or move. The tape is not holding the brackets in place.
