Review on 🔌 ZyXEL BRG35503 Cable Modem by Aaron Clayton

The modem works well and is easy to install. Big but. Comcast is difficult to deal with. Customer service routed me to three people and hung up. I spent half an hour. The second attempt was successful, but wasted another half hour. They didn't seem to know anything about this model even though it was on their approved list. The representative was forced to turn to the "second echelon” for help. More wasted time. The rep said he would call me back to finish installing the modem on his system but never did. Out of frustration, I opened Internet Explorer, which by default was on the Comcast Xfinity modem setup page. From then on it worked well enough. Conclusion: Comcast's customer service is terrible. If there are modems out there that promise a simpler interface, it might be worth spending more money not to waste an hour on Comcast's poor customer service.
