Unfortunately someone at the factory decided to use a PLASTIC garden hose repair tie to secure the loose braided ends of the rope wrap to the bottom of the loop. As any large bird owner knows, this is a BAD IDEA! This clip lasted about 2 1/2 minutes until our military ara ripped it to pieces and the braid started to dangle. About an hour in the garage with pieces of galvanized pipe, a saw and grinder, pliers, etc. I managed to salvage the wrecked one and repair the second, untouched one we bought. Someone has to give this idea a five on the forehead.
