I actually have a 58 inch TV on this mount. The weight of the TV is less than half the rated weight of this mount, so I'm not worried about that. The freedom of movement is good and the device seems to be stable. even when fully extended. The only problem is the log wall it is mounted to. Although I used a spirit level when attaching the base to the wall, it seemed to tilt slightly and when fully extended the TV was tilted slightly. I have leveled the TV with the bracket extended and the height is now acceptable whether extended or retracted. If the cable routing was better I would give 5 stars. In any case, care must be taken when sliding the mount back to prevent twisting of cables, particularly the Toslink cable.
