Pure white macrame cord is hard to find so had to make do with what I have. If you want to stick with tying knots, you'll be fine and you'll probably love this thread. I bought it to fluff up the ends and create tassels for which it wasn't the best choice. When you unwind the thread and brush it to make tassels, that thread immediately tries to twist/twist. I had to comb it as vigorously as possible to keep the tassels semi-straight. I realized that natural yarn is much better suited for brushes. On the plus side, this string dyed very well with Rit dye. The photo shows a white thread colored in different shades of pink.
